Meet The Face Behind Advanced Home Inspections

I’m Shawn Culley, proud owner of Advanced Home Inspections.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

After fifteen years of carpentry, I felt like I had gone as far as that occupation was going to take me. A friend of the family is a home inspector, and he showed me the ropes. I have now completed two years as a home inspector, and every day is a new experience for me.

Vancouver Island is a fast growing area with many opportunities. Helping people find their perfect home and showing them how to maintain it is what has been the most pleasing part of my new career path.

As a home inspector, I ensure that there always is clear communication with a professional attitude and a drive to go the extra mile. This attitude has helped me achieve success in a short span of time, as I’ve received referrals and calls from previous clients telling me how happy they were with their home inspection reports.

All my home inspection reports are an honest reflection of the house. While some home inspectors feel obliged to sugar coat their reports in order to make a sale happen or not upset a realtor, I want my client to make a well-informed decision.

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is my honesty, integrity, professionalism, and continual quest for to keep learning and educating my clients as well. I am also passionate about preventing climate change. I believe that by making small changes in the way we live and build our houses, we can avoid unnecessary damage to our world.

When I am not at work, I enjoy skiing and scuba diving. I also play the guitar and feel that music is a great escape.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
